We built this because we lived the problem ourselves.
It all began when I started my own matrimonial journey. Like many others, I tried everything — Mobile apps for biodata creation, Word templates, Canva designs, biodata websites. Some looked good, some had useful features, but none really solved the problem. I made my profile, downloaded the PDF, and shared it with families over WhatsApp.
At first, it seemed simple. Then reality kicked in.
I spotted a typo, fixed it, and re-shared. Then I changed company — another version. My sibling got married — update the family details. A few months later I wanted new photos before reaching out to new families. Every small life update meant creating yet another PDF.
Soon there were versions everywhere: one file for the biodata, a folder of photos, and several revised PDFs floating around WhatsApp. My parents kept asking, “Which one is the latest?” Half the time, even I wasn’t sure what I’d already sent.
As a software engineer, I couldn't let it go. Why are we still treating something this important like a static document? People keep portfolios, digital resumes, and personal sites they can update anytime. Why should a matrimonial profile be any different?
So I built one for myself. The more I worked on it, the more I realised this wasn’t just my problem — almost every family lives it during the matrimonial process. That’s how Marriage Profile was born: a living profile you update once, share anywhere, and always know your family is showing the latest version.
“Create it once. Update it anytime. Share the latest version, every time.”
Our Mission
Every meaningful journey evolves — and a matrimonial profile should evolve with it. We're replacing static PDFs with a living profile that stays current through every update, making it easier for families to share the right information without creating new versions.
Our Vision
We envision a future where matrimonial profiles are no longer documents passed from chat to chat, but trusted digital profiles that families can update once and share anywhere. Just as resumes evolved into LinkedIn profiles and portfolios became personal websites, we believe matrimonial profiles deserve the same transformation.
We're just getting started
Marriage Profile started as one person's fix for a personal, frustrating problem. It's becoming a product for every family that goes through the same process — and we're building it guided by the people who actually use it.
What's ahead: more thoughtfully designed templates, sharper privacy controls, and simpler ways for families to keep a profile current together. The goal won't change — one profile you own, always up to date, shared only with the people you trust.
