Writing Help for a Marriage Biodata

The facts take twenty minutes. Date of birth, height, education, where you work. What stalls people is the writing: the About Me that has to sound like a person, the family section written on behalf of everyone, the partner preferences that need to be honest without reading like a list of demands.

These guides work through those sections one at a time, with examples of what reads well and what reads like it was copied from a template. Most of the advice comes down to being specific. "Senior analyst at a private bank in Pune" tells a reader more than any adjective.

None of it assumes you want a particular kind of marriage, or that your family works a particular way. Where a section is genuinely a judgement call, the guide says so and lets you decide.
