Why restraint helps a short biodata
A decorated template with six filled fields looks like a form somebody abandoned. This design sets expectations differently: the empty space reads as intentional, so a biodata with fewer details still looks complete. That is a real advantage if you would rather not list income, or if your family details are brief.
What to write when you use it
Write less, and mean it. This is the design where a two-sentence About Me is a strength. Because there is so little visual noise, any padding stands out — the clichés especially. "Simple person from a simple family" has nowhere to hide here.
Where it is the wrong choice
